About The Soundworks
The Soundworks specialises in voice-
The Soundworks is owned and run by Mick Hutchings.
Mick has over 35 years experience as a sound engineer, producer and musician. His experience includes sessions at Good Earth (Tony Visconti) and Abbey Road studios. He has worked with many singers, musicians and voice artists and his work is regularly broadcast on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky.
He also plays guitar and has performed all over the UK and Europe at private events and festivals such as the Brecon Jazz and Cambridge Rock festivals.

The Soundworks offers an efficient and friendly environment that allows sessions to run in a smooth and productive way.
The Soundworks do not employ freelance engineers or producers, so upon commencing a project, we will work together until it's successful completion.
The Soundworks -
At the Soundworks all voice-
You can record wild or to picture.
Remote producers can dial in to oversee the session.
I can simply engineer or if required, I can also offer production suggestions to help you get the most out of the session.
RECORDING
Clients typically request the full unedited session, but if required, bad takes and pauses can be edited out, breaths can also be tamed and mouth-
Edited voice-
A full mastering service is also offered so that the final delivered files can be inserted straight into your program or app without any further work.
EDITING
I offer a fast turnaround time and finished work can be delivered in any audio file format.
Typically this will be high quality 24 bit/48kHz PCM format, but alternative file formats can also be used if the file size needs to be kept to a minimum, for example for podcasts or to be embedded into a mobile application.
